Lhasa Poo Puppies

Lhasa Poos are smart, affectionate dogs that love nothing more than to please their owners. They are loving by nature and always on the lookout for affection and attention from their family members. Most Lhasa Poos do well with other dogs, pets, and children, as long as they've been properly socialized during puppyhood. Despite their size, these dogs make great watchdogs because they are quite protective and won't hesitate to alert you if a stranger is around. Additionally, the Lhasa Poo is a moderately active dog that can easily adapt to its owner's lifestyle, making them a good choice for apartment dwellers.

Lhasa Poos could inherit health issues from either parent, such as brachycephalic airway syndrome, luxating patellas, retinal atrophy, cataracts, glaucoma or prolapsed nictitating membrane.

Lhasa Poos are energetic, but only require about 30-45 minutes of exercise per day. Like the Lhasa Apso, they are great at self-exercising, and playtime with family is a great way to get their energy out. They are very social and love trips to the dog park to socialize with other furry friends.

Lhasa Poos should receive daily brushing to prevent the matting of their long, curly hair. Their fur should also be trimmed monthly to avoid it getting too long.

Thanks to their Poodle parent, Lhasa Poos typically have curly hair which does not shed, making them hypoallergetic. If they take more after their Lhasa Apso parent, their hair might lightly shed.
