Canaan Dog Puppies
The Affectionate, Loyal, and Independent Canaan Dog
Canaan Dogs are one of the oldest known dog breeds, and are named after what is now called Israel. In the year 70 the Romans destroyed Jerusalem which scattered the Israelites and their animals. The Canaan Dogs survived in the desert mostly undomesticated until the 20th century. They take very well to training, and are very self-reliant and rugged from their days in the wild.
